Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program is an extension to your child’s
Kindergarten experience at school. Our small class size allows
for ample time for individual instruction in math, reading and
writing.

Welcome to Kindergarten
Nurture Growth
We
extend the use of The Creative Curriculum to our kindergarten
program. This allows our teachers to design a classroom environment
where the children form warm relationships with teachers and caregivers,
and feel comfortable to explore their environment and make new
discoveries.
Challenge Minds
In
our kindergarten program, we strive to help children explore, discover,
make new friends and learn new skills. Some of the skill we work on
include:
·
Language Art
skills including rhyming, opposites, letter recognition, sight words,
and printing.
·
Math skills
including patterning, telling time, money, and simple addition and
subtraction.
·
Social
skills such as sharing, simple problem solving, and taking care of the
environment.
·
Fine motor
skills including using scissors and holding crayons and pencils
correctly.
Enrich Lives
Our goal in this classroom is to help each child reach their own highest
potential by providing opportunities and activities that help the
children foster a love for learning.
Our
Kindergarten curriculum is aligned with Ohio’s K-12 Standards.
